Euvichol®-Plus

Euvichol®-Plus is the world's first plastic tube-type vaccine, and has the advantage of being easier to store and transport and easier to administer than existing Euvichol® products. Due to its simple administration method of shaking the tube and administering it immediately and its low price, it is exclusively supplied in public vaccine markets around the world. Euvichol®-Plus is the third product in the world to receive WHO-PQ approval. It received WHO-PQ in August 2017 for its plastic tube formulation.

Dosage and Administration Administer orally twice at two-week intervals
Appearance A colorless, clear glass vial containing a yellow or slightly yellowish cloudy solution containing inactivated cholera bacteria.
Efficacy / Effectiveness Prevention of cholera caused by Vibrio cholerae serogroup O1 in children, adolescents, and adults over 1 year of age. (However, efficacy against Vibrio cholerae serogroup O139 has not been confirmed.)
